Viewed from afar, the digital recreation of an analog wave signal may seem smooth, but when you look closely there are tiny discrete steps as the signal tries to approximate values. Analog waves are smooth and continuous, digital waves are stepping, square, and discrete.
- Control your tone easily
The control layout on the LEF-315 Dumbler is very simple to use, and offers a very powerful and varied response. There are three knobs that control Gain, Tone and Volume, as well as a Voice button and footswitch control. You can turn the Gain dial to the 12 o' clock position for a basic output, turn it down to use as a boost or turn it right up for some heavy overdrive. Use the tone dial to adjust your sound to match the amount of gain you wish to generate. The Voice control is unique and gives your sound a crisp bite and it also allows you to adjust the colour of your guitar's overdrive just by moving the pot to the desired setting.
