In the 1960s, a man called Alexander 'Howard' Dumble began modifying amps, then soon after began building his own high-gain amps which became incredibly popular though they were hard to come by. These boutique amps could sometimes be priced way, way out of a mere mortal's average budget so over the years numerous companies have strived to try and recreate that Dumble sound. The Dumbler does a magnificent job of emulating the custom manufactured Dumble amp, which is an incredibly rare amplifier that is highly sought after. The best thing about this boutique pedal is that unlike any similar dumbler counterparts, the Rowin LEF-315 Dumbler comes at a surprisingly affordable cost so that any guitarist can take advantage of its amazing sound.

And it truly does have an AMAZING sound.

  • Analog circuitry with true bypass

The vital difference between analog and digital circuitry is understood just as we can sometimes see pixels in digital images. Viewed from afar, the digital recreation of an analog wave signal may seem smooth, but when you look closely there are tiny discrete steps as the signal tries to approximate values. Analog waves are smooth and continuous, digital waves are stepping, square, and discrete.

  • Control your tone easily

The control layout on the LEF-315 Dumbler is very simple to use, and offers a very powerful and varied response. There are three knobs that control Gain, Tone and Volume, as well as a Voice button and footswitch control. You can turn the Gain dial to the 12 o' clock position for a basic output, turn it down to use as a boost or turn it right up for some heavy overdrive. Use the tone dial to adjust your sound to match the amount of gain you wish to generate. The Voice control is unique and gives your sound a crisp bite and it also allows you to adjust the colour of your guitar's overdrive just by moving the pot to the desired setting.
